Career Technical Education
Accountability Data – Tennessee uses accountability data to track growth and improvement year-over-year. Accountability data include gains on student assessments, gap closure between groups of students and graduation rate. These measures meet certain federal requirements and are used to determine a school or district’s accountability status under the state’s waiver from the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. The overall percentage of students scoring proficient and advanced on accountability data may differ from achievement data because of the federal accountability requirements related to students with disabilities and English Learners.
